In pursuance of the philosophy that Refresher Courses should focus on personal and professional growth of teachers of Institutions of Higher Learning the current Refresher Course in Urdu is designed to provide the faculty members an exposure about the latest developments in the frontiers of knowledge in the subjects spanning the field of Urdu. Also it will focus on certain aspects of research methodologypedagogyfor managing the class room environment.

Working as Professor Department of Urdu, Aligarh Muslim University and as Course Coordinator, NRC, ARPIT UrduRefresherCourse, SWAYAM, UGC, MHRDat AMU and before it worked as HOD, Dept. of Urdu Dyal Singh College since last twelve years. Passed matriculation from Bihar School Examination Board, Patna, 1979, Intermediate from Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, 1981, B.A Urdu (H) and M.A in Urdu from Ranchi University (Now in Jharkhand).
Done my M.Phil on “Literary Style of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan” from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi1991. Obtained Ph.D on “Analytical Study of the Prose Style of Sir Syed’s Era” from University of Delhi in 1999.
Completed Mass Media Advance Diploma Course from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi 1991.
Presented papers in various National and Internationals Seminars, work shops and delivered lectures in institutions of repute. There are a number of television and radio programmes/ talks and Radio Feature to my credit.
Contributed many critical introductions on various creative writers and contributed chapter in various edited books by eminent scholar: and published a vast number of research articles and other articles, and articles edited books by eminent scholars.
Participated in so may Educational Activities text making process and gained administrative experience in different meeting on the issue of course design, interview as Head of the Department.
The well known national ETV Urdu Channel engaged my cervices for its much popular educational series Maktab. This serial prove to be one of its kind in the history of teaching of Urdu Language through Television.
