Edge Hill College opened in Liverpool in 1885 as the first non-denominational teacher training college for women. From its origins as a specialist institution with 41 female trainee teachers, Edge Hill now has almost 10,000 full time students another 3,000 part time students on a wide range of undergraduate programmes, as well as almost 5,000 full and part time postgraduate students.

This four week course is intended to address issues which face the podiatrist in day to day practice. The course examines some of the key problems of patients who have vascular problems affecting their lower limbs. While the course is mainly focused on clinical matters, questions are also raised about the nature and scope of podiatry.The materials in the course are abstracted from the 'Vascular Disease Management' CPD module at Edge Hill University.
