Following historic human achievements in steam power, electricity, and digital information, Robotics is now considered by many to be the fourthindustrial revolution. This course explores robotics not simply as advanced technology, but as a new scientific discipline that can lead to a deeper understanding of human behavior. The course begins with an explanation of what it means to simulate humans and societies , what potential advantages there may be, and the progress that has been madethus far.The course follows this general introduction with specific simulations that reproduce human behavioral development ; exploring the relationship between the cognitive, motivational, and emotional aspects of behavior. These simulations also delve into the critical, nuanced concepts including: individual differences, language, thinking, social behavior, differences between men and women, the nature and role of family, possession and wealth, exchange of goods, the emergence of currency and organization for the production of goods, the economic and political role of the State, and historical phenomena. The final part of the course investigates the social utility of simulations when they are translated into digital environments. This section utilizes a user-friendly and motivating interface that enables anyone tobetter understand the world in whichwe live.

Fundamentos de robótica I - Modelado de robots

Fundamentos de robótica I - Modelado de robots

0

The Practical Guide to React Native

The Practical Guide to React Native

Mobile application developmentWhat you'll learn:Build mobile application using react nativeUse of micro app design pattern for react native applicationCode sharing between react js and react nativeApplication debuggingAfter this course, You will become hero from zero.About react-native: React Native is a JavaScript framework for writing real, natively rendering mobile applications for iOS and Android. It’s based on React, Facebook’s JavaScript library for building user interfaces, but instead of targeting the browser, it targets mobile platforms. In other words: web developers can now write mobile applications that look and feel truly “native,” all from the comfort of a JavaScript library that we already know and love. Plus, because most of the code you write can be shared between platforms, React Native makes it easy to simultaneously develop for both Android and iOS.Why react-native: There is much hybrid technology like the phone gap, but UI experience is not good for these libraries. But react native is using native iOS and android component and using bridge method to communicate. So react-native UI and performance are similar to the native project.

Class Central TipsLearn How to Sign up to Coursera courses for free1600+ Coursera Courses That Are Still Completely FreeRecommender systems have changed the way people find products, information, and even other people. They study patterns of behavior to know what someone will prefer from among a collection of things he has never experienced. The technology behind recommender systems has evolved over the past 20 years into a rich collection of tools that enable the practitioner or researcher to develop effective recommenders. We will study the most important of those tools, including how they work, how to use them, how to evaluate them, and their strengths and weaknesses in practice. The algorithms we will study include content-based filtering, user-user collaborative filtering, item-item collaborative filtering, dimensionality reduction, and interactive critique-based recommenders. The approach will be hands-on, with six week projects, each of which will involve implementation and evaluation of some type of recommender. In addition to topical lectures, this course includes interviews and guest lectures with experts from both academia and industry.Beginning in February 2015, you will be able to earn a Verified Certificate by verifying your identity via a webcam and a government-issued ID.
