L’ampiezza del fenomeno spinge a interrogarsi sulle sue origini e sui suoi presupposti culturali al fine di progettare e realizzare politiche e altri interventi volti a sensibilizzare e quindi a prevenire questo problema.Per rispondere a tali esigenze, lo Sportello Antiviolenza "Una stanza tutta per sé" e la piattaforma online Chayn italia in collaborazione con l’Università di Napoli Federico II hanno promosso il corso “Chayn - strumenti attivi contro la violenza di genere”.Le due organizzazioni promotrici del corso sono lo Sportello antiviolenza "Una Stanza tutta per Sé" e Chayn Italia.Lo Sportello antiviolenza "Una Stanza tutta per Sé" nasce dal percorso femminista di un gruppo di donne che, dal 2011, dopo aver seguito un corso presso l’Onlus Donne in genere e dopo il tirocinio presso la Cooperativa Be Free, ha deciso di costituirsi Onlus per combattere la violenza contro le donne e quella di genere. Da oltre 5 anni le operatrici dello Sportello aiutano chiunque ne abbia bisogno a Roma e si sono occupate dell'organizzazione e realizzazione di workshop e laboratori sul tema (prevenzione alla violenza, stereotipi). Inoltre, lo Sportello è parte integrante di Chyan, collaborando attivamente alla stesura e revisione dei contenuti del sito e portandone avanti il lavoro di mappatura dei servizi presenti sul territorio italiano.Chayn Italia è una piattaforma che utilizza tecnologie open source per fornire alle donne che ne hanno bisogno strumenti, informazioni e supporto contro la violenza di genere. Chayn Italia è un progetto di feminist tech in continua evoluzione. Attraverso Chayn Italia, chiunque abbia una connessione internet può avere accesso diretto ad informazioni e consigli pratici elaborati da volontarie ed esperte, il cui scopo è restituire alle donne la capacità di uscire dalla spirale di violenza.Il corso ha l’obiettivo di offrire gli strumenti teorici e pratici per riconoscere, leggere e interpretare la violenza di genere. in particolare il corso è pensato per fornire un focus sulla violenza domestica, che per le sue caratteristiche è quella più difficile da riconoscere e da affrontare.I differenti moduli offrono un percorso coerente e sistemico per sviluppare una prospettiva critica capace di incidere sulla qualità delle relazioni umane e per leggere e riconoscere la violenza di genere nel suo complesso e nella vita quotidiana.Questo corso è rivolto a chi lavora a contatto con il pubblico e/o lavora in equipe perchè l’obiettivo è quello di facilitare rapporti umani improntati sul reciproco rispetto e di eliminare le discriminazioni di genere. Quindi ci rivolgiamo particolarmente a chi lavora nell’ambito delle risorse umane e agli operatori sociali.Il corso risponde all’esigenza di formare esperti nella violenza di genere, offrendo gli strumenti teorici e alcune tecniche professionali per aiutare le vittime di violenza. E’ rivolto, in particolare, a soddisfare la crescente richiesta da parte di enti e strutture di una formazione specifica in tale ambito per riconoscere la violenza di genere e come si manifesta in tutte le sue forme.

FlotRisCo: Seaside communities facing coastal risks

Where are we in the knowledge of the risks of erosion and submersion? Does the risk of erosion and flooding are changing with climate change? What are the means of prevention to overcome these challenges? How to manage the erosion of the coastline? The Mooc FlotRisCo will try to answer these questions. This course builds on methods developed in the framework of an interdisciplinary research program bringing together geographers, geologists, lawyer, economists, psychologists, etc. to the University of Brittany Western (UBO) and to the University of Québec in Rimouski (UQAR) and various institutions.The objective of this Mooc is to give you a set of tools to better understand coastal risk and to have a different perpective of coastal vulnerability. Two "witnesses" territories will be compared: the Brittany coastline in France and the coastline of Bas-Saint-Laurent, Quebec.

Designing Online Courses with the 7Cs Framework

The 7Cs is a powerful seven-stage process that helps educators and designers create effective courses using digital technologies. This framework was proposed by Prof Gráinne Conole. It combines the Open University’s Learning Design Initiative with the Carpe Diem learning design workshops of the University of Leicester.In this Massive Open Online Course (MOOC), you will work on the design (or redesign!) of a technologically enhanced course. You will find a series of activities to guide you through the learning design process. If you want to complete all the activities, you will need 2-3 hours per week. This MOOC has 6 lessons. Questo corso è ambizioso e semplicissimo. Ha l’obiettivo di aiutarti ad introdurre il pensiero computazionale in classe attraverso il coding, usando solo attività intuitive e divertenti da proporre direttamente agli alunni.Quando affrontiamo un problema o abbiamo un’idea, spesso intuiamo la soluzione ma non siamo in grado di formularla in modo operativo per metterla in pratica. Il pensiero computazionale è proprio questo, la capacità di immaginare e descrivere un procedimento costruttivo che porti alla soluzione. Come imparare a parlare ci aiuta a formulare pensieri complessi, così il pensiero computazionale ci offre strumenti ulteriori a supporto della fantasia e della creatività.Per questo il pensiero computazionale è per tutti. E’ una capacità trasversale che va sviluppata il prima possibile. Non è solo per informatici e programmatori, ma programmare è il modo migliore per acquisirlo. Per questo in Europa e nel mondo si svolgono ogni anno campagne di alfabetizzazione per la diffusione del coding. E’ per questa stessa ragione che noi parleremo di coding e giocheremo con la programmazione senza ripeterci ogni volta che lo facciamo per sviluppare il pensiero computazionale. Quello accadrà da sé senza bisogno di dirlo.Veniamo al metodo. Questo corso non è concepito per introdurre metodi e concetti che in qualche futuro potranno esservi utili in classe, ma per aiutarvi ad organizzare attività di coding in classe direttamente durante il MOOC. La maggior parte delle lezioni di questo MOOC sono appuntamenti in diretta streaming che potrete seguire in classe con gli alunni, mettendovi in gioco insieme a loro. Non occorre che abbiate dimestichezza con l’informatica, le attività proposte sono intuitive e divertenti e nei video farò del mio meglio per darvi spunti di riflessione ulteriori. Se non riuscirete ad organizzarvi per seguire le lezioni in diretta potrete sempre riusarle successivamente.Così creeremo su questa piattaforma una comunità di apprendimento fatta di insegnanti, ciascuno con la propria classe. Starà a me certificare i vostri progressi, mentre voi certificherete quelli dei vostri alunni. Al termine del MOOC tanto voi quanto i vostri alunni avrete acquisito competenze certificate per le quali alcuni atenei italiani, tra i quali l'Università di Urbino, riconoscono un credito formativo universitario.Per le attività online useremo prevalentemente le risorse di Code.org e Scratch. Per le attività unplugged (senza computer e senza rete) faremo tutto da soli.Durante il corso avrete modo di condividere con i colleghi e con me l'impostazione delle attività nelle vostre classi e creeremo dei gruppi di valutazione tra pari, all'interno dei quali ciascuno di voi giudicherà l'impostazione proposta dagli altri.Ora non ci resta che iniziare a fare coding in classe. However, in this self-paced course, you can take the sections of the course you are interested in learning about anytime/anywhere and come back to the others at a later date. Like in our grieving processes, there is no right or wrong way to approach this course.

E-learning

In het kader van het EADTU-initiatief “Opening up education” hebben het Welten-institute (voorheen CELSTEC) van de Open Universiteit en Kennisnet in het najaar van 2013 een MOOC over E-learning gegeven. Dit is een ingekorte versie van die MOOC. Twee masterclasses, een over learning analytics en een over multimediaal leermateriaal vormen het hart van deze MOOC. Deze masterclasses worden aangevuld met een introductie op e-learning, leertheorieën, invloed van technologie op leren en de relatie tussen didactiek en e-learning. Daarnaast maken we gebruik van opdrachten en hopelijk veel interacties.

Learning design focuses on the activities and resources that help learners achieve course outcomes. This Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) describes a new approach to designing for learning to help educators/designers create courses, face-to-face, blended, online and/or for a mobile learning context. The aim is to guide the making of pedagogically effective design decisions and the appropriate use of digital technologies. You will need 3-4 hours per week to work your way through the course. You can use the additional readings and resources within some units to expand upon the topic if you find it especially interesting or pertinent to your needs.Throughout this course, peer-support will be crucial. Please participate and comment on the work of other students. Let others know that you are there! Two main tools will be used for communication: CONVERSATIONS section at the bottom of each page, where you can post comments and reply to others.Blogs, which are available within the EMMA platform and will be used to document your learning.

Deze Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) is bedoeld voor docenten die een (bestaande) cursus (opnieuw) willen ontwerpen, en daarbij online leren willen afwisselen met face-to-face bijeenkomsten. Tijdens deze MOOC analyseren we verschillende voorbeelden van blended learning. U kunt daarnaast via een extra opdracht aan de slag gaan met het maken van een ontwerp van een cursus waarbij sprake is van een effectief en aantrekkelijk gebruik van internettechnologie. U bent in staat keuzes aan de hand van literatuur te onderbouwen.De MOOC heeft een doorlooptijd van 7 weken. De onderwerpen die aan bod komen, zijn: toetsen, beoordelen en feedback geven, communiceren en samenwerkend leren, communiceren en individueel leren, en ontwikkelen van leerstof, allen uiteraard met behulp van internettechnologie.Iedere studietaak bevat opdrachten die u voorlegt aan de andere deelnemers. Daarnaast kunt u zich verder verdiepen in blended learning door te kiezen voor verdiepingsopdrachten of door een herontwerp te maken.We vragen van u om actief mee te doen en te reageren op uitwerkingen van de overige deelnemers.De studiebelasting bedraagt ongeveer 3 uur per week. A holistic approach for Energy Transition: territory, networks and sustainability

This course, promoting a holistic approach, is aimed to reach all individuals interested in the topic and willing to promote a sustainable participatory planning of Energy Transition.The course focuses on the socio-territorial and environmental perspective in order to understand Energy Transition  as a social construction process. The first two modules of the course are dedicated to clarify the concept of ET and to understand it as a social construction process in order to territorial, social and environmental perspective. In the third and fourth modules we will address the issue of the Sustainable Participatory Planning of Energy Transition and its implications in terms of cooperation/conflict. Finally, in the last two modules the participants will acquire basic notions of theoretical and methodological approach of the Social Network Analysis, specifically in order to identify:
a) network as a tool of sustainable participatory planning;b)  role, skills and weight of the central actors in the social construction of ET. 

Electric heat pumps in the energy transition framework

The MOOC aims to give an overview of the heat pump technologies application in the context of the energy transition. In particular, using a case based approach, the course will start with examples of the heating and cooling needs of the buildings then moving to the working principle and technologies of the electrically driven heat pumps. After examples of energy performance indicators calculations and dynamic simulation of the heat pump coupled to a building, the integration of the heat pumps into more complex systems (smart grids) is discussed, introducing the tools allowing heat storage and strategies for control (demand side management).
 

Green professionalization and ethics

Professions are involved in and, somehow, transformed by the energy transition.New skills are required, both from the technical and social fields. These “green collars” have to deal with the institutionalization of the ecological values  and the local knowledge of the territories. The course will explore these issues with reference to the role of the professionals in promoting a fair and sustainable energy transition.
