Der neue kostenlose offene Online-Kurs (MOOC) des Europäischen Ausschusses der Regionen (AdR) wird nützliche Informationen zu aktuellen und zukünftigen EU-Förderprogrammen sowie praktische Beispiele für Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten auf regionaler und lokaler Ebene bereitstellen.Während der ersten sechs Wochen des Kurses (15. Januar - 23. Februar 2018) konzentrieren sich die Teilnehmer auf ein bestimmtes Thema pro Woche und bewerten ihren Lernfortschritt anhand von Aufgaben und einem wöchentlichen Quiz. Die Studienzeit beträgt ca. 1,5 Stunden pro Woche. Das Kursmaterial bleibt für ein Jahr online, so dass die Lernenden nach den ersten sechs Wochen das Kursmaterial in ihrem eigenen Tempo durcharbeiten können.Der Kurs beinhaltet Videos, Factsheets, Infografiken und per Webstream live übertragene Debatten mit Fragen und Antworten der Kursteilnehmer. Darüber hinaus können die Teilnehmer über ihre Logbücher in der Kursplattform interagieren.Der Kurs wird gemeinsam mit mehreren Generaldirektionen der Europäischen Kommission durchgeführt: Regional- und Stadtpolitik; Budget; Beschäftigung, Soziales und Integration; Landwirtschaft und ländliche Entwicklung; Eurostat - sowie mit der Europäischen Investitionsbank, Interreg Europe und URBACT.Der Kurs ist kostenlos, auf allen Geräten zugänglich und richtet sich an alle, die sich für EU-, regionale und lokale Angelegenheiten interessieren.Dieser Kurs ist auch in Englisch und Französisch verfügbar.

Le nouveau cours en ligne ouvert et massif (CLOM) du Comité européen des régions (CdR) fournit des informations utiles concernant les politiques et programmes de l’UE, actuels et futurs, ainsi que des outils pratiques et des exemples de possibilités de financement disponibles à l’échelon régional et local.Pendant les six premières semaines de cours (du 15 janvier au 23 février 2018), les participants se concentreront chaque semaine sur un thème spécifique et évalueront les progrès accomplis par le biais de devoirs et de tests hebdomadaires. Le temps nécessaire à l’étude sera d’environ une heure et demie par semaine. Les supports pédagogiques resteront disponibles en ligne pendant un an, afin que les participants puissent suivre le cours à leur propre rythme après les six semaines initiales.Le cours comporte des vidéos, des fiches d’information, des infographies ainsi que des débats et des séances de questions-réponses avec les participants qui seront retransmis en direct sur Internet. En outre, les personnes inscrites seront en mesure d’interagir par l’intermédiaire de leurs journaux d’apprentissage sur la plateforme du cours.Le cours a été élaboré en collaboration avec plusieurs directions générales de la Commission européenne: Politique régionale et urbaine; Budget; Emploi, affaires sociales et inclusion; Agriculture et développement rural; Eurostat - ainsi qu’avec la Banque européenne d’investissement, Interreg Europ et URBACT. Le cours est gratuit, ouvert à toute personne intéressée par l’UE et les affaires régionales et locales, et accessible sur tous les appareils.Ce cours est aussi disponible en anglais et en allemand.

The new free massive open online course (MOOC) of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) will provide relevant information on present and future EU policies and programmes, as well as practical tools and examples of available funding opportunities at regional and local level.During the first six weeks of the course (15 January-23 February 2018), participants will focus on one specific theme per week and will evaluate their learning progress via assignments and a weekly quiz. Study time will be about 1.5 hours per week. The course material will remain online for one year, so that after the first six weeks learners can work through the course material in their own pace.The course will include videos, factsheets, infographics and web-streamed live debates with Q&A from the course participants. Moreover, participants will be able to interact via their learning journals in the course platform.The course is co-created with several Directorates-General of the European Commission – Regional and Urban Policy; Budget; Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion; Agriculture and Rural development; Eurostat – as well as the European Investment Bank, Interreg Europe and URBACT. The course is free of charge, open to anyone interested in EU and regional and local affairs, and accessible on all devices.This course is also available in German and French.

EU budget and funding for regions and cities

About This Course The European Committee of the Regions (CoR) offers this MOOC to contribute to capacity-building of regional and local authorities with regard to EU affairs, more particularly on EU budget and funding for regions and cities. While regions and cities matter in EU policy-making, they may have a limited knowledge of how the EU budget works and what are the possibilities for accessing EU funds. The course will attempt to fill this knowledge gap. This MOOC has been co-created with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Commission – Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) and Directorate-General for Budget (DG BUDG). The course consists of videos, factsheets, infographics and web-streamed live debates with Q&A from the course participants. Moreover, course followers can interact and contribute via social media and fora. The course will last six weeks, starting on 31 October and ending on 9 December 2016. Studying time is about two hours per week. The course material will remain available online until 31 July 2017. Format The MOOC will be delivered in the form of six modules, each of which lasting one week. Participants will focus on one theme per week and will have the opportunity to evaluate their learning progress via a weekly quiz.
