The official PRINCE2® manual, Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®, is not included in the cost of this microcredential and you will need to obtain your own copy. You may have this from your Foundation course. If not, please make sure you get the 2017 version of the manual.
The main difference between PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner training is the level of each course and exam. The Foundation training is aimed at newcomers to project management, whereas the Practitioner training and exam are intended for more experienced project managers.
To take the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam, you need to hold the PRINCE2® Foundation certification or one of the other suitable certifications listed on the AXELOS website.
By completing this microcredential, providing suitable evidence of prior certification, and by passing your online exam, you will be certified at Practitioner level.
You must provide evidence that you hold the 2009 or 2017 version of the PRINCE2® Foundation certification, or another suitable certification listed on the AXELOS website (PMI, CAPM and PMP or an IPMA Level A-D qualification, for example).Acceptable evidence would be a copy of your examination certificate and confirmed entry in the AXELOS Successful Candidate Register. You will need to provide the full SCR number (located on your certificate). Delegates without satisfactory evidence will not be permitted to sit the exam.
